Mid-Century Reno
I consider every client I work with a wonderful gift. When this kind gentleman reached out to me to renovate his condo at Sea Gate in Ocean City, MD, I was grateful to take it on. When he told me he wanted the style to be Mid-Century Modern, I jumped for joy! How much fun it was to go back in time and create an environment similar to what Marc and I grew up with bringing many warm memories to mind. Together with my daughter, Michelle (who had her first experience with Mid-Century) we pulled together our concept. Using all new furniture and finishes we incorporated blues and browns, natural flush cabinet doors with “boomerang” cabinet pulls, angled tell-tale furniture feet, natural woods, while giving space to modern appliances. We also incorporated modern Apple technology where Marc can command the lights to go on, the blinds to open, the TV to turn on and more. And of course, we had to grace the home with a modern-day toilet washlet!!
Many kudos to Mast Contracting for bringing our vision to life. AND helping us put together a kitchen that uses every square inch of space!
